Extensive research into the flow dynamics reveal not only the benefits of the extra volume, but also the way in which coolant is more efficiently injected into the cutting zone, which in turn results in sustained high performance when drilling the notoriously \u201esticky\u201c stainless steels.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The geometry of the cutting edge resembles another series of highly successful and productive drill bits from Mitsubishi Materials - the MPS, this combined with the improved chute design provides very efficient chip removal and disposal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A brand new PVD coating, DP7020, based on Mitsubishi's patented \u201eMiracle\u201c technology, conveys the high performance. AlTiN based coating, enhances the top layer, imparting additional wear resistance... the AlTiN layer prevents the material from sticking to the cutting edges.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">MMS drill bits are available in two sizes - short and long. In diameters from 3 to 20 mm, up to a diameter of 14.05, the sizes are through 0.1 mm, and from 14.5 to 20 mm - through 0.5 mm.
