It guarantees excellent performance and extended tool life, especially for finishing operations where surface quality is of utmost importance.

The state-of-the-art generation of serpentine (metal-ceramic) inserts for steel turning now guarantees cutting edge stability even when a cooler is used where machining has been carried out with conventional metal-ceramic alloys - the result is often an unexpectedly short tool life.

NX3035 uses a special bonding alloy that offers high thermal conductivity and bond strength, resulting in greatly improved thermal shock resistance. This reduces thermal cracking and allows NX3035 to highly guarantee tool resistance and tool life, even in wet machining where conventional cermet alloy does not show good performance. Tests have shown that the heat shock resistance is doubled compared to other metal-ceramic alloys.

The use of coolant during high-speed fine machining helps to achieve excellent surface finish, in addition, the dimensional accuracy of components can be maintained longer due to the resistance of the cutting edge.

The NX3035 range includes over 300 wafers. We offer inserts with negative and positive geometries, as well as series with different chip breaking depending on their specific application.

CONTACT

+359 66 80 03 49office@timextools.com
[10

post-1292","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-timex-tools
["GET
