Mitsubishi Materials presented by new generation CVD coatings with unique turning and milling properties. These innovative materials offer exceptional hardness and wear resistance, ensuring longer tool life and optimum performance.

The new series of cutting inserts combines high durability and precision while reducing tool change times and providing better surface quality. The CVD coating increases hardness, prevents thermal cracks and allows the use of coolant - a critical factor when machining stainless steel. The combination of atoms of different sizes creates an extremely hard crystalline structure.

Mitsubishi Materials' new technology improves crystal structure of coating (Al,Ti)N. Unlike standard processes, here the aluminium content can exceed 60% without compromising the hardness of the material. The result is a stronger and more durable coating. Using a new CVD coating process based on Mitsubishi Materials' own original technology. This is a way in which the Al-Rich coating does not change its crystalline structure even when the Al content is increased. This allows a higher Al content and provides higher hardness (Al,Ti)N.

MV1000 Milling series: consists of the classes MV1020 и MV1030, designed for machining a wide range of materials - from stainless steel to cast iron. Suitable for milling cutters WWX, WSX, WJX, WSF, VPX, AHX and ASX.
MV9005 turning series: this series exceeds all existing standards in the machining of heat resistant superalloys.
Both negative and positive plates are available with 5 different chipbreakers for an optimal combination.
With the new MV1000 and MV9005 from Mitsubishi Materials, your tool performance reaches new heights, delivering longer life, better quality and machining reliability.
